专利摘要:
CLIP CLAMP - CLOSING CLOSE The present invention is a snap clamp, closing clamp (10) with two skewed jaw members - spring (12, 14) and a sliding closing bar (16). The same spring (13 ) that skews the modifiers (12, 14) keeps the closing bar (16) in position. Since the bar (16) is kept in the closed or open position, it is safer and has to be acted on positively in order to undergo transition from one configuration to another.

Cross References for Related Patent Applications
[001] This patent application claims priority over previously filed US provisional patent application number 61/533 104, filed on September 9, 2011 and as a continuation of previously filed US non-provisional patent application 13/439 034, filed on April 4, 2012 and incorporates both previous patent applications by reference in their entirety. Technical Field
[002] The present invention relates to the field of fasteners and more particularly it relates to a clamp fastener - snap. Background of the Technique
[003] The present invention is a snapping clamp that comprises fewer parts than prior art snap clips and I use them in a simple arrangement that makes the snap clip of the present invention advantageous over the prior art.
[004] The present invention represents an exit from the prior art in which the snap clamp of the present invention allows a snap clamp that is simple and intuitive for use that will remain in a closed or open configuration until the user decides to switch from one to another. Exhibition of the Invention
[005] In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of snap clamp fasteners, this invention provides a snap snap clamp. As such, the general purpose of the present invention is to provide a new and improved clamp fastener - snap closure that is easy and intuitive to use, uses few component parts and is economical to manufacture.
[006] To achieve these objectives, the snap clamp clamp according to the present invention comprises two jaw members joined in a pivot and bias cut by a spring in a closed position. A closing bar passes through a jaw member and slides under one end of the spring. The bar can pass to one side or the other of the biting member through which it passes and is held in position by the spring. In one position, the bar blocks the passage of the other biting member, while allowing passage in the other position.
[007] The most important features of the invention have thus been outlined so that the following more detailed description can be better understood and so that the present contribution to the technique can be better appreciated. Additional features of the invention will be described below and will form the subject matter of the claims that follow.
[008] Many objects of this invention will appear from the following description and attached claims, with reference to accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification where similar reference characters designate corresponding parts in the various views.
[009] Before explaining at least one embodiment of the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of construction0 and the arrangements of the components shown in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The invention is capable of other realizations and of being practiced and carried out in several ways. It is also to be understood that the phraseology and terminology used here are for the purpose of description and should not be seen as limiting.
[010] As such, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the design, upon which this exhibition is based, can easily be used as a basis for the design of other structures, processes and systems for carrying out various purposes of the present invention. It is therefore important that the claims are seen as including any
[011] equivalent constructions as far as they do not deviate from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Brief Description of Drawings

[025] With reference now to the drawings, the preferred embodiment of the snap, closing clamp fastener is described here. It should be noted that the articles “one”, “one”, and “o”, as used in this specification, include plural referents unless the content clearly dictates otherwise.
[026] The following numerals are used to indicate the following components of the preferred embodiment shown: 8 physical components10 fastener; 12 jaw; 13 spring; 14 jaw; 15 roller pin; 16 locking bar; 18 sling; 22 stop; 24 distal tongue; 26 tooth with hook; 28 lever; 40 easel; 42 pivot hole; 43 floor; 44 channel; 45 tooth; 46 rear edge; 48 connection bar; 62 first tapered end; 64 edge; 66 vertical notch almost in center; 68 second tapered end.
[027] With reference to Figs. 1 and 2, two jaw bodies, a jaw 12 and a jaw 14, form the catch 10.Maxilla 14 carries in jaw frame 12. The jaw 12 and jaw 14 pivot in relation to each other around a rolling pin 15 and are skewed in a closed position by torsion spring 13. Closure bar 16 passes through a middle portion of the jaw 14 and can selectively prevent movement of the jaw 12 in relation to it. This impediment allows fastener 10 to be closed in an immovable position at the user's wish.
[028] Figures 3 and 4 show the fastener components in greater detail. The jaw 12 features a tooth provided with a hook 26 at one end and a lever 28 over the other. Two distal tongues 24 are located on either side of the jaw 12, roughly a third of the length of the jaw 12 from a terminal end of the lever 28. Both tongues 24 feature holes through coaxial. A stop 22 is located on one side of the jaw 12 under lever 28 and behind a tongue 24. The jaw 14 features a trestle 40 that interfaces with the tooth provided with a hook 26. Trestle 40 features a floor 43 and two sides, with each ending in a tooth 45, with space defined between each tooth 45 and the floor 43. Maxilla 14 also features a connecting bar 48 opposite the easel. The connecting bar 48 defines a rear end of the jaw 14. Two pivot holes 42 are provided on opposite walls of the jaw 14, so that, when properly positioned, the holes in the tabs 24 are coaxial with the pivot holes 42. A roller 15 or similar structure is inserted there to connect the jaw 12 and jaw 14 and serve as a pivot bar around which the jaw bodies pivot respectively.Torsion spring 13 is positioned around roller pin 15, between the tongues 24, and is anchored with an arm in a slot over the rear rib 46 of the jaw 14 (Fig. 11). The torsion spring 13 deflects the jaw bodies in a closed position.
[029] The closing bar 16 passes through a channel 44 behind pivot holes 42 in the jaw 14. The closing bar features two tapered ends 62, 68, a vertical notch almost in the center 66 and a rib 64 residing in a notch horizontal similarly almost in the center. Together, rib 64 and the horizontal notch form two holders on either side of rib 64. When in position, the horizontal notch resides under the end of spring 13 anchored to the rear rib 46. The action between these parts is shown in a better view Fig. 8.
[030] In use, shown in Figs. 5-10, the closing bar 16 is pushed to one side or the other. In an open position shown in Figs. 5-7, stop 22 is positioned over notch 66, thus allowing relative movement between the mandible 12 and maxilla 14. Spring 13 resides in an outer edge holder of rib 64 in the horizontal notch. Spring pressure deflects the spring 13 against the closing bar 16 and maintains the position of the closing bar. To close the fastener, shown in Figs. 8-10, a user presses the exposed tapered end of the closing bar 16 until sufficient force is applied to the spring 13 to make the rib 64 jump and secure over its other lateral holder. In this position, stop 22 is not positioned on vertical notch 66, but on a solid portion of the closing bar 16. This prevents the jaw 12 and jaw 14 from pivoting and opening the fastener. The clamping bar 16 of the fastener then requires positive pressure from the user to switch from one position to another and remains in this position until the user consciously wishes to change.
[031] This fastener 10 can be used in many different functions, such as the sling 18 shown in Fig. 12. In any setting, a tape can be secured around tie bar 48 in any of the conventional, known, or through any means discovered later. In use, shown in Fig. 13, the fastener 10 is opened by opening it and pushing down the lever 28 to separate the jaw 12 from the jaw 14. A piece of connecting physical component 8, such as a ring or bar , is positioned between teeth 45 and floor 43 of the jaw clamp 14 and the lever 28 released, whereby closing the tooth provided with hook 26 around a physical connection component. Fastener 10 is then closed as described above.
[032] Although the present invention has been described with reference to preferred embodiments, numerous modifications and variations can be made and the result will still be within the scope of the invention. No limitation with respect to the specific achievements shown here is intended or should be inferred. Industrial Applicability
[033] The present invention is capable of being produced in industry and used as an aid in portability and other fields where transport or attachment of an object to another object is required. This patent application illustrates the invention as being in use with a sling; however, the invention is capable of using other objects, most notably strips and packages, where temporary but secure fixation of two objects is required. Link bar 48 is an exemplary means by which the present invention is connected to the target object, in this case a sling. It can be easily appreciated that different means of connection can be used for different types of objects and different purposes. The present invention can be manufactured from any suitable material, metals and plastics being considered ideal for durability and economical construction.
